GlobalNet21 (21st Century Network) started in April 2007 to discuss some of the great issues of the 21st century and then follow this up with further debate and action. I wanted to start a informal and fun discussion in Toronto around topics that are near and dear to my own heart and worthy of hearty debate: - Cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) - Virtualization benefits/drawbacks/strategies - Next generation application architectures - Cloud security, data mobility For each session, a couple members will prepare a bit of background on a topic and then we can have a debate/discussion.
